About

Hello and Welcome!

I have three decades of experience teaching literature and writing to adolescents and am passionate about what I do. I enjoy the interplay between students in a classroom setting, but also love to work one-to-one with students to help them meet their individual goals. Our sessions together work best when we have clear goals, are relaxed, and are open to exploring ideas and creativity beyond the assignment. The best learning happens when students feel a deep connection to their work and become curious to explore more. It’s exciting for students when this curiosity turns into lasting self-confidence and independence.
